Ali Mac Candles is a small business based in Coigach on the North West Coast of Scotland. Each handmade candle draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape - the crofts, mountains, seas and the communities that live along side them.

Inspired by the peat fires in Achnahaird. Capturing the smoky aroma of burning peat mingled with subtle hints of cedar, precious wood and Autumnal tones. This candle will transport you to hunkering down in a Highland cottage where the fires crackle and the sea breeze blows outside. The peats is a tribute to natures warmth and the enduring spirit of Coigach. Featuring artwork from my brilliant cousin Mairearad Green, it carries a rich family history. Our family have been bringing home “The Peats” for over 200 years.
