SPOOTS!
These candles started out as a big Razor Clam shell I found whilst beach cleaning on a Coigach beach. I made a mould from it, and now pour each Spoot by hand.
Weird, unique and beautiful, just like something the tide left behind.
Every single one is hand finished using my dad's old knife. It gives them a rouge edge, just like the real shells.
Perfect table decor for a seafood supper or light one to relax and remember the West Coast.
In Scotland, razor clams are called “spoots” for the jet of water they shoot when burrowing at low tide.
