Muddy wellies, frosty air, and the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree.
It's pouring. The bog is squelching. Your socks are somehow wet inside your wellies. But then... that smell. Sharp, green, and clean. The perfect pine tree. It's fresh and forest-y but not Christmas candle sweet. It's the real, wild, just-been-outside smell.
For days when you can't get out for a stomp, light this and trudge through the bog from the sofa.
We might not have many Trees in Achnahaird but finding the right tree is important business.
